Boston area singer/songwriter David Thibodeau has been performing and recording for many years in and around New England. In an effort to express his musical vision, David has become a reluctant singer and front man. Behind the scenes he has a wide array of talents, from writing his own original compositions and lyrics to being a multi- instrumentalist. David takes his everyday life experiences and transforms them to hooky melodic hard rock pop songs.
In late October 2010, David Thibodeau released his CD “Stars In Your Eyes Ants In Your Pants”
On his CD, “Stars In Your Eyes Ants in Your Pants,” David teams up with friend Stan Hunting. Hunting recorded and co-produced this album. David’s diversity and his influences from both British rock groups from the 60’s and 70’s and current rock and alternative sounds can be heard in this near sonically perfect recording. David is currently working to get his music accessible for movies and television. Here’s what they’re saying about “Stars in Your Eyes Ants in Your Pants”:
“Rowdy, guitar-driven, post punk banter emanates from David Thibodeau’s CD “Stars In Your Eyes Ants In Your Pants”
Thibodeau’s urgent vocals and overdriven, tremolo drenched, biting guitar work shines, song after song while players like the late T. Lavitz (of the Dixie Dregs), drummer C. Peter Asklund, bassist John Anthony, keyboardist Marty Olga and cellist Nick Dinnerstein round out the sounds on “Stars In Your Eyes Ants In Your Pants.”
Tracks of note include the anthemic “Next Life,” the inventive “Ordinary People,” and the buzzing “New #2.” If the Rat was still in business. You would be assured that David Thibodeau and his band would be rocking the rafters.

David explains his music best when he says, “If you enjoy the music on this CD . . . CRANK IT UP!”
